Liberty Church NYC Launches New Union Square Location

Liberty Church NYC launched in New York City in 2010 and is led by Australian Paul Andrew and his American wife Andi Andrew.  According to the church website, the couple met in bible school at Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia.

Liberty Church calls itself a “Christian community in NYC with the audacity to believe that by His grace we could influence a city that influences the world.”

Liberty Church has been meeting in Tribeca at Tribeca Cinemas (54 Varick St.), but is launching a second location in Union Square this Sunday September 18, 2011.  Liberty Church Union Square will meet at the New York Film Academy (100 East 17th St.).

The guest lounge opens at 6:30pm and the service starts at 7:00pm.  According to Liberty Church NYC, this Sunday’s service is “a chance to take a stand together for faith, for hope and for the future of Union Square.”
